Welcome to my HomePage! You are probably wondering why Ojster.com? Ojster is my nickname and it is a kind of short version of my surname ( in a dialect - that's the reason for letter j ) - they called me by this name at collage and it is pronounced same as Oyster.
What can you find on these pages? It's about what I like and do in my free time. You can find eBook commentaries and links to eBook related sites (especially for .lit formatted eBooks), Dashboard skins, images for Today's The Day program and PocketPC related links. I have my own Photo Gallery with mostly nature photos, but it's not just nature - check it out - it will be time well spent! I also have my own discussion board where you can find/post discount codes, eBook commentaries, comments and suggestions concerning my photography and skin creations.

Don't forget to bookmark now!

You can also reach my page via http://www.PocketPCstuff.com. Currently both URL's bring you to the same page.

I discovered a new online eBooks page thanks to the article by Mr. Jim Karpen. They have lots of titles you can read in MS Reader on your PocketPC. Check it out!

I just found out that my interactive eBooks page is mentioned in the article written by Mr. Jim Karpen - Small eBook publishers; PDA Bookstore. An extract from the press release:
"If you're interested in eBooks from small publishers, check out Ojster's Interactive eBooks page. He lists several more in his listing of Top 10 eBook sites, including Scorpius Digital Publishing (science fiction, fantasy, horror) and Awe-Struck E-Books (romance, sci fi, sci fi romance, mainstream, historical, and nonfiction)."

cake (9k image)It is exactly one year since I started my PocketPC oriented page. It was an interesting year full of changes and new things. I started with a DashBoard skin and now you can find quite a few of these on my pages. It's been a long time since I created the last one though. I've been mostly working on my interactive eBooks page and creating Today's The Day image sets. Now that winter is comming I will have to spend more time inside and I will surely find some time to make something new for DashBoard since my old ones are really out of date ;) I am also planing to create seasonal TTD image sets. It is interesting, but I still haven't found anyone who would help me write eBook reviews. Are there no eBook readers out there? ;)
What do you think of my pages? What do you like the most? What would you change? You are welcome to post your comments below or on my discussion board.

Those of you who wondered around the MS page for free MS Reader eBooks (they are DRM5) and didn't find where to download them - here is the direct link. You need to have an activated MS Reader though.

Saburovo.com is having problems for the last few days. I have my Discussion Board and Links page on it and this is the reason all other pages work and these two don't. I hope it will be corrected soon. It's always the same with the space you get for free... except with Jim Taylor - I can't even remember when my page was last offline. Thanks to pawnee.com you can access my page every single day ;)
Regarding Discussion Board and Links section - I will look for another server if these problems continue...

Microsoft is a bit earlier this week. You can already download new free titles.

I got three correct answers to my question yesterday. The correct date is 16th of November - this is the day I started my PocketPC oriented page. Page you were looking for is still located on Geocities server. Gerard Ivan Samija - the first to answer correctly said it took him all together 35 seconds to find what I wanted to know: "Google, dialup connection, 35 seconds."

All three winners are announced on my giveaway page and they will each get their own eBook. For those of you who tried and did or did not answer correctly - I can only say better luck the next time. If you already decided which book you'd like, don't worry you can purchase it from corresponded pages. Check out my interactive eBooks page for info.

Don't forget to download new titles from Microsofts page. Those of previous week are already gone - so don't wait too long or these will also be gone ;)

Kathleen Walls - author of Last Step (check my interactive eBooks section for comments) just recently converted her cookbook into .lit format. Words from the author:

"I think you have created a monster here. I got interested in what you said about Microsoft Reader and investigated a bit more. I plan to transform my other novel, By Any Other Name to a .lit book too. I also put this cookbook in .lit format."

This book is not formatted to be PocketPC friendly - it however is DRM2. I sent some suggestions to Kathleen in case she decides to reformat it - you'll be the first to know when the new version is available. I must also say that I am always happy to do the formatting.

I posted a new eBook review - actually my comments about the book Autumn. Check out my interactive eBooks page for info. You can now buy the book Last Step written by Kathleen Walls - it is available in .lit as well as some other formats. Visit authors site - you can find all the info including my comments on my interactive eBooks page.
Don't forget to check out my giveaway page for FREE eBooks. The first person to answer my question correctly will be able to choose among three titles. I currently have three eBooks to offer and this means the first three who will answer correctly will each get one title for free.
