Well, as promised by developer, a new version is out already! And with lots of improvements! No more vasted Today Screen space! They have not yet implemented all my ideas ;) but those that are now built in are well thought out and very welcome!

Now you can run a certain note type directly from your Today Screen and when writing new notes you are asked for filename - if you don't want to change anything you can just select "default" and it will be stored without your need to write anything; and in case you do, keyboard pops-up automatically so it really is a quick process.
And by clicking on the main icon in Today Screen you now get a program in its default state, so there is no need for an additional shortcut in Start Menu or on Today Screen.

What I miss most from my suggestions is number of notes in certain folder to be displayed all the time and not just when you have certain folder selected. And moving to next and previous note.

If you haven't yet tried this notes program, I suggest you to install a demo and test it out - you will not be disappointed. And happy writing!
